FIRST RESPONDER ACTION CENTER OF CALIFORNIA

The frequency of wildfires has been on the rise in recent years and shows no signs of slowing. Responders to these blazes are often composed of full time professional firefighters bolstered by local volunteers. 

Firefighters in locations besieged by wildfires face unique challenges every day. Their responsibilities necessitate unique and specific training and equipment.  Wild land firefighting differs significantly from urban firefighting, and fire departments that respond to these crises face very specific challenges.

We will be engaging in projects on the Western side of the United States, focussing on wildland firefighters and the unique issues they face. This will allow our organization to engage with supporters and address location-specific issues. We continue our mission to make political change in the Fire and Ems industry and stand by the men and women who serve our communities every day.
